AI Technicals like I’m 10
Stop being a spectator in the AI revolution. Start understanding the engine under the hood.
Understand the machine without the math.

Why this course
We believe you don’t need a PhD to understand how a Neural Network thinks. Our unique “Cognitive Gentle” approach uses five core pillars:
Zero Jargon: No assumed technical background. We speak human.
Intuition First: We teach the “Why” before the “Math.”
Touch the Tech: You won’t just watch videos; you’ll use real models and browser-based tools.
No Costs: Every tool we use is free and runs in your browser – no expensive hardware needed.
The Transition: We move you slowly from seeing to touching to building.
You build your first models here!
Billion Hopes – AI for Beginners, Non-technical Professionals & Strategists
Course structure
This course is for learners and professionals across the globe, now suddenly confronted with the rising AI tide. It will power you up with the basic technical competence of AI.
We cover the technical basics of AI in 20 beautifully crafted lectures, that any non-technical student can follow immediately.
Focus is clear: Take the first step in destroying your “AI fear”. Time to confidently invest in a Course built on theory + practical tools. No prior deep technical or AI knowledge needed. Course conducted in English.
Will I build anything real, or is this all theory: Every module (see roadmap below) ends with a “Touch the Tech” session. You will build a spam filter, an image recognition model, and even a simple task-based AI agent by the end of the 20 lectures.
You can take this Course independently, or as part of the “Like I’m 10 Bundle”.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why is it called ‘AI Technicals like I’m 10’
Because the course is for anyone who knows absolutely nothing about technical aspects of AI and Machine Learning, and needs the first technical hand-holding. People of all professions and age groups are welcome, 8 or 80, 25 or 65! Yes, even if your are in your 50s or 60s, you can start right away. All it needs is the first step. You’ll surprise yourself with the results!
What does this mean – Understand the machine without the math
This is for the beginner stage in AI and Machine Learning education. It will help you build your first small ML model and train your first Neural Network. It will open a technical window without any fear of intense mathematics involved. This will be your first technical exposure to AI and ML.
Do I really need to be a “math genius” to take this course
Absolutely not. One of the most common myths is that you need advanced calculus or linear algebra to start learning AI. While these concepts power AI, modern tools handle the heavy lifting for you. We focus on the intuition behind the math so you can understand the logic without doing the long division.
Is coding required? I’ve never written a line of Python.
No coding experience is necessary to succeed here. We use “no-code” and “low-code” tools like Google Teachable Machine and pre-configured Google Colab notebooks where you simply click “Play” to see the magic happen.
What technical knowledge do I need
No prior technical knowledge needed for this course. Students can be from any academic or social or work backgrounds, as mentioned above. As you move ahead in life armed with this knowledge, you may want to dive deeper into the technical aspects later. This course has a practical focus.
What tools will I actually use
You will work with real-world platforms used by professionals, including:
Google Colab: For running AI models in your browser.
Teachable Machine: To train your own image and sound classifiers.
Neural Network Playgrounds: To visually “see” how deep learning layers work.
Will I build anything real, or is this all theory
Every module ends with a “Touch the Tech” session. You will build a spam filter, an image recognition model, and even a simple task-based AI agent by the end of the 20 lectures.
Do I need a powerful computer or expensive hardware
No. You can start your AI journey with just a regular laptop and a web browser. We leverage free cloud-based resources so you don’t have to spend a cent on hardware.
Why should a non-technical person learn “technicals”
Understanding the “why” allows you to spot AI hallucinations and biases that others might miss. It helps you communicate fluently with developers and ensures you aren’t fooled by marketing hype.
Will AI replace my job if I don’t learn this
AI is unlikely to replace people altogether, but it will certainly change how we work. Learning AI gives you a significant competitive advantage by allowing you to automate repetitive tasks and focus on creative, strategic work.
What kind of English does the mentor use
The mentor, with more than three decades of expert teaching experience, uses simple and understandable English. Downloadable notes provided for each lecture.
What does the mentor help me get from this course
He helps you build foundational understanding on technical aspects of AI, supports your exploration process, and helps decide your future course of action.
What are the deliverables
1. Beautifully crafted 20 video lectures of 30 min each
2. Very empathetically crafted course, purely for beginners
3. Study material PDFs for each session (downloadable)
4. Tests for each session to solve online
5. Six months’ unlimited access to entire course
6. A ‘certificate of completion’ issued by Billion Hopes, upon successful completion of the course. This is not a degree or diploma, but a certificate of participation and completion.
7. A clear exposure to the vast range of modern AI and Machine Learning.
Do I need to do any other course prior to this
No. This is a standalone course that doesn’t need any other.
But we recommend you do all the AI Primer courses to get a full view of AI. A bundled offer is available.
Is AI “intelligent” or “alive” like in the movies
No. AI doesn’t “think” or “feel” human emotions; it is a sophisticated system that identifies patterns in data to calculate the most likely next step. Demystifying this “magic” is a core goal of the course.
